Gamesnite Terms of Service
Effective date: January 27, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Gamesnite mobile application (the “App”), operated by PlainQode (“we”, “us”, or “our”).
By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1) The App
Gamesnite is a local-first “game night toolkit” that includes utilities such as coin flips, dice rolling, timers, buzzers, and scorecards.
The App is intended for personal, non-commercial use unless we explicitly agree otherwise.
2) Eligibility
You must be able to form a legally binding agreement to use the App. If you are under the age of 13, you may not use the App without parental involvement.
3) Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy:
The Privacy Policy explains what information is collected and how it is used, including the use of Firebase services and advertising in the free version.
4) License and Acceptable Use
License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal use.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Misuse the App (for example, attempt to interfere with its normal operation)
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except to the extent permitted by law
- Use the App in a way that violates any applicable laws or regulations
- Use the App to harass, harm, threaten, or encourage illegal activity
5) Ads and Premium
Ads
The App may display advertisements in the free version. Ads are provided by third-party advertising partners (for example, Google Mobile Ads / AdMob). Ad partners may collect information as described in the Privacy Policy.
Premium
The App may offer optional premium features (such as removing ads). Any purchases are handled through the Apple App Store or Google Play (as applicable) and are subject to the store’s terms and policies.
Premium entitlements may be stored locally on your device.
6) Local Data and Backups
Gamesnite is designed to store most gameplay data locally on your device (for example, scorecards and settings). You are responsible for maintaining access to your device and any backups you choose to make.
We are not responsible for loss of local data due to device loss, device damage, OS updates, uninstalling the App, or other device-related issues.
7) Third-Party Services
The App may integrate with third-party services, such as:
- Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config)
- Google Mobile Ads (AdMob)
Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms and policies.
8) Disclaimers
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
- WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR ALWAYS AVAILABLE.
Gamesnite is intended for entertainment and convenience. You are responsible for how you use the App during games and events.
9) Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PLAINQODE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE APP.
IN ALL CASES, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID (IF ANY) TO USE THE APP IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
10) Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms or if we discontinue the App.
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
11) Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the “Effective date” at the top when changes are made. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
12) Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which PlainQode is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
